The canvas, stretcher and attachments appear to be in generally good condition. There are fine hairline cracks in places along the extreme right vertical edge and three hairline cracks along the extreme left vertical edge, the longest measuring approx. 1.8cm. in legth. When examined under ultra-violet light there is no indication of inpainting. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in good condition.
