Lot Essay

CALIX
Calix is a high jewellery house created in 1985 by the Italian jeweller, Massimo Palmiero. Born in 1963 to a historic Roman family, Massimo developed a passion for beautiful objects and precious gems at a young age, which led him, at age 22, to open his private, by-appointment atelier in the heart of Rome. Famous for his one-of-a-kind jewels, known for its use of intense colors, precious metals and exotic stones, Calix unique designs have attracted various collectors and museums such as the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, where they were privately exhibited in 2018.
