Reference 5020 was in production from 1994 to 2002 and manufactured in all metals except stainless steel. Thanks to its generous proportions, reference 5020 is easily distinguishable from other Patek Philippe wristwatches and takes a unique position in the production of perpetual calendar chronographs.

According to scholars, reference 5020 was produced to less than 600 examples from which 150 in pink gold. Today, it is belived that only 13 pieces in pink gold are known form the market
