Condition report
A Christie's specialist may contact you to discuss this lot or to notify you if the condition changes prior to the sale.
The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
The work is structurally sound and all elementa appear to be present. There are minor hairline surface abrasions in places, visible under raking light. There are a couple of pinpoint accretions to the second element on the right and to the third element on the top edge. There is a minute gap to the peak of the third element. When examined under ultraviolet light, there is no evidence of retouching. It is our view that the work is in generally good condition.
