The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le carton est fixé au revers par des morceaux de papier adhésif neutres. Quelques légères traces de frottement sont visibles par endroits le long des bords associées à de très petits manques de matière, probablement dus à un ancien encadrement. La surface est légèrement poussiéreuse et encrassée. Quelques petites accrétions de surface sont visibles par endroits. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

The cardboard is hinged on the reverse with points of neutral tape. There are few slight rubbing marks in places along the edges associated with very small chips, certainly due to the former frame. The surface is slightly dirty and dusty. There are few small accretions to the surface visible in places. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
