The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is free. The artist has realised a study for La gladiatrice on the reverse of the work. The edges are lightly irregular and the sheet has slightly yellowed. There are small creases and slight abrasions visible in places along the edges. There are small tears that have been restored along the upper edge.
