There are areas of loss to the gilding scattered across the surface, likely due to handling and abrasion. There is light wear to the areas of raised decoration throughout. Some of the inset stones are intact. There is some dirt and soot in the recessed areas. The sculpture is sealed with a base plate, incised with a partially-gilded visvavajra.
