Group of six typewritten letters from baseball executives including: Hall of Famer Kenesaw Mountain Landis (1866-1944), three letters dating from 1921 (extolling the virtues of Walter Johnson), 1923 and 1937 (on BASEBALL stationary), all signed K.M. Landis in black ink; Hall of Famer Ban Johnson (1864-1931), two letters dated 1915 and 1927 (to Hall of Famer Clark Griffith regarding scheduling umpire Billy Evans to work on Walter Johnson Day 8/2/27), both on American League stationary, signed B.B. Johnson in black ink; and a one page letter from John Heydler (1869-1956) dated June 23rd, 1933 on The National League stationary to Hall of Famer Gabby Hartnett informing the Chicago Cubs great that he had been selected to appear in the inaugural All Star Game to be played at Comiskey Park on July 6th, 1933, signed John Heydler in black ink. Overall Very Good condition with fold lines and foxing.
