A group of three uniform player contracts between Hall of Famer Bob Feller (1918-2010) and the Cleveland Indians, including: a contract for the remainder of the 1945 season (in which Feller returned from World War II a decorated war hero), dated August 23rd, 1945 for $10,000, signed Robert Feller in black ink, and countersigned by Roger Peckinpaugh as President of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League ; a contract for the 1953 season, dated April 8th, 1953 for $32,500, signed Robert Feller in blue ink, and countersigned by Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League; and a contract for the 1956 season (Feller’s last season of his legendary career), dated January 26th, 1956 for $22,500, signed Robert Feller in blue ink, and countersigned by Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League.
