A group of four uniform player contracts for members of the Cleveland Indians, including: Rocco “Rocky” Colavito (1933- ) for the 1956 season (his rookie year), dated September 26th, 1955 for $7,000, signed Rocco Colavito in blue ink, and countersigned by Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League; Luscious “Luke” Easter (1915-1979 ) for the 1952 season, dated December 19th, 1951 for $16,500, signed Luscious Easter in blue ink, and countersigned by Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League; Herbert Conyers (1921-64) for the 1951 season, dated January 5th, 1951 for $750, signed Herbert Conyers in black ink, and countersigned by Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League; and Leland “Lou” Brissie Jr. (1924- 2013) for the 1952 season, dated January 29th, 1952 for $17,500, signed Leland Brissie in black ink, and countersigned by Hall of Famer Hank Greenberg as General Manager of the Cleveland Indians and Will Harridge as President of the American League.
