A handwritten letter written by Hal Chase (1883-1947), dated Nov. 11th, 1931 in which Chase responds to an autograph request and proceeds to give brief summation of his career. Signed Hal Chase in black ink. Accompanied by notecard signed Most sincerely yours, Hal Chase, 12th & West Sts., Oakland, Calif. along with a short note dated 11/23/41 on the verso. Overall Very Good condition, with foxing and scrapbook residue on the corners.
