A group of four Puerto Rican League player contracts for Negro League greats’ Chet Brewer (1907-1990), Luke Easter (1915-1979), Sam Bankhead (1910-1976) and Quincy Trouppe (1912-1993) including: a contract for the 1940/41 season between Brewer and the Mayaguez club for $40 a week plus expenses, signed Chet Brewer in black ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses; a contract for the 1956/57season between Easter and the Caguas-Guayama club for $1000 a month plus expenses, signed Luke Easter in blue ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses (also includes a rider signed by Easter); a contract for the 1947 season between Bankhead and the Caguas-Guayama club for $75 a week plus expenses, signed Sam Bankhead in blue ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses; and a contract for the 1941/42 season between Trouppe and the Caguas-Guayama club for $50 a week plus expenses, signed Quincy Trouppe in black ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses.
