A group of three Puerto Rican League player contracts for legendary Latin American baseball great Pedro “Perucho” Cepeda (1905-1955) father of Baseball Hall of Famer Orlando Cepeda, including: a contract for the 1940/41 season between Cepeda and the Guayama club for $12 a week plus expenses, signed Pedro Cepeda in black ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses; a contract for the 1941/42 season between Cepeda and the Guayama club for $12 a week plus expenses, signed Pedro Cepeda in black ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses; and a contract for the 1944/45 season between Cepeda and the Mayaguez club for $35 a week plus expenses, signed Pedro Cepeda in sepia ink and countersigned by the President of the club and two witnesses. Overall Excellent condition.
