A uniform coaching contract dated April 5th, 1930, between William “Kid” Gleason (1866-1933) and the Philadelphia Athletics for $8,000 for the 1930 season. After a long pitching career, Gleason became the Manager of the notorious 1919 Chicago White Sox and eventually settled into a coaching career with the Athletics. Signed William Gleason in black ink, and countersigned by John D. Shibe, Vice President of the Philadelphia Athletics and E.S. Barnard as President of the American League. Overall Excellent condition.
