The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Charcoal, pastel and watercolour on wove paper. Hinged to the mount at the reverse upper sheet corners. Two diagonal flattened creases: one towards the upper right corner, the other at the lower centre edge. A few further handling marks and soft creases elsewhere. Minor light-staining and surface dirt. A few pin-point unobtrusive foxmarks. The reverse sheet edges with four mounting tape remnants. The pigments are strong and fresh throughout. Subject to the foregoing it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.
