The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Watercolour, brush and India ink and pencil on thick wove paper. Attached to the mount at the reverse sheet corners. The extreme upper edge with a faint horizontal crease and minor skinning. Light- and mount-staining, the latter mostly at the extreme sheet edges. A few pale, unobtrusive foxmarks. Minor surface dirt. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally good condition.
