The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description, with margins (the sheet marginally reduced by 1/2-in.), the colors attenuated, the sheet unevenly toned, soft creases and pale surface soiling in places, short tears in places primarily at the extreme sheet edges, the sheet backed with linen (as is common), otherwise in generally good condition
