The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
In addition to the catalogue description, each with full margins, occasional soft scuffs in places in the matte black ink, occasional pale surface soiling in places, occasional soft creases in places at the sheet corners, otherwise in generally good condition,
KvF III: a 5⁄8-in. scratch in the red ink in the central image, a handling crease in the ‘D’ of ‘DER’ (with minor associated ink loss), a small accretion on the reverse lower sheet
KvF IV: adhesive remains in places along the right sheet edge, a vertical soft crease extending the length of the sheet towards the left sheet edge
