The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In addition to the catalogue description, each the full sheet (the cover on Japon paper, the frontispiece on Chine paper, and the text pages on Holland paper), pale uneven mottling and toning in places toward the sheet edges, foxing in places throughout, text pages uncut in places at the uppper and lower sheet (presumably from time of production), creasing in places to the left edges of the front and back cover, the lithographic frontispiece in generally good condition
