On June 14, 1998, at the end of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Michael Jordan famously took his final shot as a Chicago Bull with a game- and championship-winning jumper against the Utah Jazz. This moment is known as “The Last Shot” and the black-and-red colorway of the Air Jordan XIV he wore that night has inherited this nickname.
Michael Jordan exclusively wore the black-and-red “Last Shot” colorway of the Jordan XIV during two games of the ‘98 Finals, practicing in the white-and-red “Chicago” colorway of the model between games.
Here is an MJ-coded “Chicago” Jordan XIV, worn during practice as seen in “The Last Dance” documentary, which is an extremely rare colorway and model to find with MJ coding and wear.
This pair is sourced from the son of a member of the Chicago Bulls that season, who wishes to remain anonymous.
