The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Faintly mat stained and light-stained, consistent with the work's age. Lower edge lightly deckled. Artist's tack holes to the four corners and at upper and lower center edges. Small nick to the center right edge. Faint stain to the upper right quadrant. Scattered scuff marks and a few handling creases. On the reverse: remnants of previous hinges to the upper corners, with some skinning to the upper right corner; a few studio stains and scuff marks. No tears or restorations detected. The line is strong. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall very good condition.
