The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Hinged at the upper corners on the reverse to the mat backing with archival tape. Artist's tack hole at the upper right corner. Upper and right edges deckled, left edge perforated. Fainty light-stained and mat-stained. A few pinpoints of foxing and surface accretions. A few faint scuff marks in places. Two small stains towards the upper part of the sea shell. A few faint handling creases. No tears or restorations detected. Subject to the foreoing, it is our opinion that this work is in overall good condition.
