The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Pen and India ink and pencil on wove paper. Hinged to the upper corners on the reverse to the mount backing with archival tape. Left edge perforated consistent with being from a notebook. Lower and left edges deckled. Faintly light-stained. Some faint handling creases. A few further flattened creases along the lower edge and to the upper right corner. Some pinpoints of foxing below the figure ear. Very faint circular discoloration at the centre lower edge. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the artwork is in overall very good condition.
