The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are two short hairlines to the mouth rim, the longer one measures approx. 1.3 cm.
- There are a few minute and shallow nicks to the foot rim
- There is fritting to mouth rim and around the foot, and there is a buffed kiln grit adhesion to the center on the interior, which are all original to manufacture
- There is a section of glaze degradation to the exterior below the mouth rim
- There are surface scratches, particularly to the interior, which are expected from its age and use
