The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are some chips to edges and extremities and a few enamel flakes, some of which have been polished
- The eyes of the larger lion and a collar ornament are now lost
- There is a hairline crack to the back side of the base
- There is composite material/ stabilizer residue behind the large lion’s left hind foot and tail
