The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
One:
- There is a hairline crack that goes around the whole feeder with associated restored areas at each end on the mouth rim
- There is overpainting to the entire mouth rim, both handles and four feet, possibly to conceal chips
- There is another overpainted area on the interior
- All feet have been polished

The other:
- There is restoration to one corner on the mouth rim
- There is overpainting to the entire mouth rim, both handles and four feet, possibly to conceal chips
- There is a hairline crack to one handle
- All feet have been polished
