We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
Cover:
- The finial has been restuck, most likely a replacement, with associated shallow chips to the interior
- There is a shallow polished nick to the mouth rim

Censer:
- There are two polished chips to the mouth rim, one is with an associated hairline
- There are a few other small areas of loss, including one figure’s head, other figures’ hands, feet and robes
- The foot ring has been off and restuck, with two associated short hairlines
- The foot rim has been polished
