The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record the changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are a few polished chips, including to one flower petal, one dragon’s ear and dragon’s right arm
- There is another polished area to the dragon’s tail with an associated fine crack to its lower body
- The surface of two russet areas is more coarse
- There are natural fissures, which are inherent to the stone
