The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Structurally sound and ready to place. Light sun-fading throughout, but predominately to the left side. Minor wear to drawer edges, as expected with age and use. The ormolu with light tarnish, surface dirt, abrasions and small areas of verdigris. The leather worn from use, with scattered staining to the upper right. One lion mask and garland off to the reverse, but retained for reattachment. Upon inspection of underside the carcass with eppoxied shrinkage cracks to each section below the drawers.
