The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each in overall good condition; with a few scattered burst glaze bubbles; with some scattered tiny chips, enamel flaking and fritting to the high points, rims and undersides of the feet; both covers with restoration, particularly to the high points of veins and to the rims; both tureens with scattered touch-ups to the painted decoration; the larger cover appears to have extensive restoration, the very pale blue paint of the interior 'wrinkled'; one tureen with a foot broken off and restuck.
