Autograph sketchleaf for the Schwedische Tänze [Swedish Dances] for violin and piano, op.63, [c.1891]
Heavily revised drafts for three Swedish Dances.

Working manuscript with extensive emendations and cancellations for dances in E flat major, A minor and B minor, in black ink with revisions in blue pencil, up to twenty-two staves per page, two pages, 359 x 268mm, also including autograph instructions on the order of the dances ('Folgt B dur 3/8 ... Folgt N. 8 in D Dur ... Folgt Nr. 5 (in G dur) als N.11').

The Swedish Dances, 15 in all, were published by Simrock in 1892, initially for violin and piano, and subsequently for piano four-hands, military band and full orchestra.
