Conrad Shawcross is an artist interested in the visual manifestation of the physics of sound. Picture of a Chord Falling into Silence was created using a machine created by the artist comprised of swinging pendulums. By pulling the sheet of paper beneath the motion of the machine, the drawing is created, tempering down as the machine slows its rate of motion.
