A self-proclaimed "walking artist," Hamish Fulton's work documents the experience of walking through a landscape. Utilizing text and image, as seen in the present lot, Fulton transforms his walk down Hode Lane, through Whitehill Wood, past Landmark and on his circular walks into works of art. Inspired by the intersection of life and land, Fulton's work is infused with environmentalism, but also the ever-widening gap between humans and the natural world.
