American artist Tony Berlant specializes in nailing fabricated metal into sculptures and reliefs. In the present lot, the found metal has been sculpted into a small house - the brilliantly-hued metal depicting various landscapes and even an ice cream cone. The house shape feels autobiographical, like a time capsule belonging to the realm of memory.
