The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The pill box with marks clear. Very light scratching, some wear to the gilding on high points especially finial, corners and underside.
The snuff-box: wear to the enamel on the underside; small crack at one corner underneath. Some glue residue at the junction of the mount to the body at the four corners; spider crack inside the cover, two only visible on the outside; one hairline crack running in the base running up the back panel but not visible outside.
