Veneer: there are few flakings and liftings to the veneer as expected.
As stated in the catalogue, some veneer elements are missing on several areas, especially on the feet and the back of the backrest.

The top of the backrest has probably been reveneered.
Ormolu : the ormolu mounts are probably associated.
The gilding is rubbed and tarnished with traces of dirts especilly in the hollows.
Some nails are lacking.
Leather: There are some cracks and stains especially to the seat and several tears to the front and the back of the backrest.
