The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
FRANÇAIS
Il s'agit d'une paire sur panneau d'une planche non parqueté. Les deux panneaux sont légèrement concaves mais stables.
A l'oeil nu, on constate des manques à gauche de l'un des deux et du chancis de vernis.
A l'UV, on constate quelques restaurations ponctuelles et récentes. On distingue des parties dévernies ou bien d'autres où le vernis est très fin.
Dans des cadres modernes (approx. 25 x 30 cm.).
ENGLISH
The pictures are painted on a pair of uncradled, single-board panels. The two panels have a slightly convex curvature but are stable.
Under natural light, some minor paint loss is visible to the left of the composition, as well as blanching of the varnish.
Examination under UV light reveals recent scattered retouching. The varnish over some areas has been cleaned, whilst over other areas it has been applied very thinly.
They are in modern frames (approx. 25 x 30 cm.).
