The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Le tableau est peint sur un papier marouflé sur toile, sur un châssis ancien.
A l'oeil nu, on constate un accident en haut au centre correspondant à un ancien trou de piton. Le tableau est sous un verni sale, jauni.
A l'UV, le tableau apparaît sous un vernis vert uniforme. On ne constate pas de restauration récente.
Dans un cadre en bois mouluré, travail moderne (approx. 27 x 53 cm.).
ENGLISH
The picture is painted on paper which has been laid down on canvas and stretched over a historic stretcher.
Examination with the naked eye reveals an accident in the upper left, corresponding to an old hole probably caused by a hanging peg. The picture is under an old yellowed varnish which carries some dirt.
Under UV light, the painting appears under a uniform green varnish. We cannot discern any recent restorations.
It is in a modern, moulded wooden frame (approx. 27 x 53 cm.).
