The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet of paper is laid down on canvas and mounted on a stretcher. The canvas is dusty on the verso. Some abraisons and losses are visible along the right, left and upper margins. The paper is yellowed but the medium remains in overall good condition except the losses. A patch of paper has been added on the verso of the canvas on the lower right corner, probably to repair a tear visible on the recto (on the bag of the hunter). In a gilt wood frame.
