Stamps clear; engraving clear. The four two handled trays with some nicks to rims and light scratching in centres and undersides. The glass-mounted silver-plated tray: the corner panels holding the glass in place slightly loose. The five smaller trays with some light scratching in centre; the largest one with loss of plating in centre and stains. The reeded dishes with scratching and abrasion marks consistent with excessive cleaning and light wear to plating on ridges. The gratin dish with light wear to plating on rim and light scratching. The footed cup with light scratching. The liner and cover with small dents and bruises to the rim; possibly resilvered; the cover also replated and with some bubbling in places and wear to the plating on the handle now soldered to the cover (possibly 19th century Sheffield plate). The four sauceboats in near new condition, light scratching in two and one now detached from the pin screwed in the base. The cocktail shaker with light scratching. The English coffeepot with bakelite handle now broken (section in the pot), some light bruising on the bombé part of the body; the cream jug with some pitting and light wear to the plating. The English ivory handle teapot and cream jug engraved with initials 'VL' under a crown, some abrasion marks consistent with excessive cleaning; small hairline cracks in the ivory handle. The small milk jug, wear to the plating with core metal showing on ridges; abrasion marks consistent with excessive cleaning; dents on bombé part of the body. The 18th century silver plaqué barber dish probably replated and with some construction bruises and pitting. The saucepan with detachable wood side handles and pan handle with mark underneath illegible, possibly silver, with some light scratching and some bruises around the foot rim.
