The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The box, with clear marks on cover and underside; some wear on high points and some scratching consistent with use and age; cover does not fit properly on the box due to bruises to the rim; small patch repair to the base visible inside the box; two small solder repairs to the box's rim with small hairline crack below; scratches to the domed part of the cover and one split and a pinhole at junction of domed part and moulded frame.
The small salver: marks clear; some wear and usual scratching consistent with age and use; heavy gauge.
The coffee pot: marks underneath clear; gilded inside the domed base and inside the body; some wear and surface bruising on body; handle seems varnished with varnish peeling in places and with some cleaning product residue; the upper lip of the spout curling slightly upwards; the hinged cover slightly loose.
The pair of waiters with wear to the gilding on different spots; light scratching; small bruises to the rims.
