The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The flatwoven structure of this kilim is in good, stable condition with a compact weave. The colour palette and design is typical of this small, little researched, early group of Ottoman weavings. There are a few very small spot repairs which have since faded in tone so appear marginally lighter and duller in tone compared to the original.  The restoration amounts to less than 2% overall. The kilim has been lined with a material backing for support and display purposes. Over this kilim is in good condition for its age.
