The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Good overall condition. The pair presents some age appropriate superficial soiling, very light scuffs and minor wear to the gilding. Some light traces of oxidizing. The swiveling shades in good overall condition with small stains and minor fraying at places. All consistent with age and use and not affecting the overall appearance of the pieces. The electrical fitting would need to be replaced to one lamp. A very decorative pair ready to be displayed.
