The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The pile is evenly low throughout the carpet and rests at or marginally beneath the knot collar. There are some areas of restoration and repiling in the borders where the colour is stronger and the pile marginally higher. The restoration amounts to less than 10% overall. There is a repaired, stepped cut running through the carpet where it has, at some stage, been reduced in size. The colour palette is evidently muted due to the minimal pile that remains.
