The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The lagest coffee pot: marks clear; engraving clear; some bruising on body and two deeper dents on the lower part of the body; one small pin dent near the lower terminal of the handle; spout slightly bent so that it does not fit tightly on the rim; possible restoration to the cover and the finial soldered on the cover prossibly a later replacement; hinge very slightly dented but does not affect the closing of the cover; the thumbpiece bent forward with strain on the junction; the wood handle with small cracks near the terminals and some discoloration caused by cleaning product.
The medium coffee pot, marks clear, with some bruises around the bombé part of the body; some scratching and pitting; the ivory handle a later replacement and with pen stain on the thumbpiece; pin dents around the bombé part of the cover.
The small coffee pot with very big dents to the foot causing it not to stand upright properly; several dents to the body and cover; wear to the terminals and slight staining to the wood of the handle.
The milk pan with light scratching; light bruising around the foot rim; handle pushed in and outline visible inside the bowl.
