Les armoiries sur les timbales en vermeil sont celles des Stanley et Granville pour Sir John Stanley, 1e et dernier Baronet (1663-1744) of Grangegorman, Co. Dublin et son épouse Ann Granville (d.1730), fille de Bernard Granville (1631-1701) de Birdcage Walk, Westminster, et Apps Court, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. Sir John Stanley fut secrétaire de plusieurs Lords Chamberlains of the Household entre 1689 et 1699. Il a également été commissaire des droits pendant deux ans à partir de 1698, secrétaire en chef pour l'Irlande de 1713 à 1714 et trésorier au ministère des finance et député de Gorey en 1713. De 1700 à 1708, il a été directeur de la Monnaie sous Isaac Newton. Son intérêt pour la science est démontré par son élection en tant que membre de la Royal Society en 1688. Il a été créé baronnet en 1699; sans descendance, le titre s'est éteint à sa mort en 1744.

The arms are those of Stanley impaling Granville for Sir John Stanley, 1st and last Baronet (1663-1744) of Grangegorman, Co. Dublin and his wife Ann Granville (d.1730), daughter of Bernard Granville (1631-1701) of Birdcage Walk, Westminster, and Apps Court, Walton-on-Thames, Surrey. Sir John Stanley was secretary to a number of Lords Chamberlains of the Household for ten years from 1689. He also served as Commissioner of Stamp Duties for two years from 1698, was Chief Secretary for Ireland from 1713 until 1714 and Teller of the Receipt of the Exchequer and MP for Gorey in 1713. From 1700 until 1708 he served as Warden of the Mint under the scientist Isaac Newton. His interest in science is demonstrated by his election as a Fellow of the Royal Society in 1688. He was created a baronet in 1699, but as his marriage was childless the title became extinct on his death in 1744.
