The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This kilim has a wider colour palette than is characteristic of this group, containing a number of soft pastel shades of pink, yellow and green. The flatwoven structure is mostly stable with some areas where the weave is a little less compact and is more coarse. There are scattered spots, mostly in the border, where the structure has been rewoven and strengthened. Some of these areas have since faded in tone compared to the original.  Overall the restoration covers approximately 15-20%. The kilim has been lined with material on the reverse for support and display purposes. Overall this kilim is in fair to good condition for its age.
