The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Oil and collage on paper. Slightly varnished. The collage elements are sound. A few lines of craquelure towards the lower right corner, and a further few in the light pink element towards the center of the left edge. One or two small tears in the material in the upper left pattern most likely inherent to the artist’s technique. The pigments are very strong and fresh throughout. It is our opinion that this work appears to be in generally very good condition.

Huile et collage sur papier. Légèrement verni. Les éléments du collage sont stables. Quelques lignes de craquelures vers le coin inférieur droit, et quelques autres au niveau des éléments rose pâle vers le centre du bord gauche. Une ou deux petites déchirures dans le tissu dans le quadrant supérieur droit, probablement inhérent à la technique de l’artiste. Les pigments sont vifs et frais sur l’ensemble de la composition. Selon notre opinion cette œuvre semble être en très bon état général.
