The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The first, fair impression, colours faded. Soiled, rubbed and creased. Holes restored within margins and damages to paper edges with some further repairs.
The second, good impression and colour. Extensive wormholes with repairs. Some trimming.
The third, good impression and colour. Wormholes repaired, in particular to lower left margin and corner, and lower right corner. Right margin very slightly trimmed.
The fourth, good impression and generally good colour (reds a little faded). Margins completely trimmed to borders, leaving publisher and date seal intact.
