The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The first, good impression and colour. Remargined.
The second, vertical centrefold with associated damages top and bottom, and strengthened at verso. Further small repairs to edges, margins soiled and rubbed.
The third, left margin heavily trimmed and a strip of paper added. Right margin trimmed into title cartouche. Light soiling.
The fourth, left and bottom margin trimmed. Paper thin. Some fading, small restorations and top edge repaired.
The fifth, margins trimmed. Rubbed, paper thin. Extensive repairs to top edge.
